Well here is a funny coincidence! I work as parts manager at a marina/yard on Lake Superior, and today a customer came in with photos of a boat, looking for information. After we chatted for a bit (and I had already mentioned this site as a great source of info and camaraderie), it came to light that he had bought this exact boat!
I invited him to join us here, so I won't post too many details now - perhaps we will have a new member :-)
I never did check out the auction site, but from the photos he showed me, it looked like a Pearson Commander or perhaps a Bristol 27 Weekender. I thought it looked more like a Commander, but apparently the length was listed as 27', so that's what made me throw the Bristol into the mix. (Of course the beam was said to be 7', so I suspect the measurements are not super-accurate.)
