I am getting ready to fill in two holes left by transducers in a boat with a cored hull (J/24). I have done quite a bit of repair work with solid glass hulls and quite a bit with cored decks, but I have never a cored hull. Is there anything special that I need to pay attention to? It seems to be rather straightforward, but any tricks would be appreciated. My plan was to repair the holes with solid glass laminate as that would allow me to use a shoot through transducer. Thanks for any information.

If you have experience with cored deck repair, then it sounds to me as if you're already armed with the basic knowledge you need to perform a similar repair in your cored hull. The process is exactly the same, particularly for a basic repair like filling an old through hull hole.
