There is an inner forestay and judging from the almost parallel topping lift and back stay then this is a TALL rig. So possibly the boom kin is for the roach and the running backs are for the stay sail. Sounds like a lot of clap-trap for a little gain if that is the case.

I would start with Walter Tools (1-800-356-6926) also at http://www.waltertool.com/ while they don't list repair parts, they are the people that import the multimaster. See what they have to say.

Welcome! Yes, you will find many new friends here. SS 34 is one of my favorite boats. We went from a SS 23 to a Luders 33 only because the SS34s were still a little out of our price range. We are about a 10th of a mile from a beautiful SS34 Moonshadow.

Zach, I found that PB Blaster works great for separating aluminum and stainless so it should work with cast and extruded aluminum. Not knowing the size, my first thought would be Semichrome. Second would be Flitz.

You can get semichrome at just about any car care place and flitz and any boat supply like We$t Marine. Both work well for aluminum.
