Re: Poli Glow Experiences ??

While I haven't used Poli Glow, I have used Penetrol. I surmise it's very similar in application and removal. I used it on an off white hull that had dulled significantly. Compounding and waxing with a high speed buffer was unsucessful. I applied the Penetrol with cotton diapers in very thin coats. ...

If there is enough left to compare, take the old pawls to West Marine and compare to whatever winch repair kits that they have on hand. They are generally bubble pack of some sort, and the parts are highly visible.

Save yourself some time and trouble. Instead of the pressure washer, buy a bottle of MaryKates deck cleaner. Splash it on, work it a little with a brush, and rinse it off. If that doesn't do it...bleach and water, about 50/50. Let it soak a few minutes, and rinse well. The pressure washer is always ...

Were it me, I'd go with the moorage with the best destinations. The more interesting the venue, the more likely you'll make the effort to go sailing. In a word, don't do it. If you're displeased with the scuffing on a bare mast, imagine how you'll feel when the now (then) white finish gets dirty, scuffed, scratched, bubbled and worn.
