Chris, your last structure was visually pleasing as well as the functional aspects. The geometric patterns of the bows and the gothic reference in the form. It looked amazing for a temporary structure.
I am looking forward to pictures of the new one!
Cheers.

You made me chuckle with that one. Yup, It will be. It's like a metaphor for life or something.....I'm going to have to spend a bunch of time figuring out what circuits get connected to what, and then spend a bunch of money buying a bunch of new wiring.
It will be an ongoing project...

Re: Next, simply remove the bilge pump...
A quick update on the bilge pump chore. I spent 5 hours pumping, vacuuming, scrubbing, removing everything that the PO dropped in the last 40 years, more pumping and vacuuming. It was just plain old raunchy down there. Black, oily and putrid. On the brighter side the boat smells a whole lot better n...

One of the items on the list prior to launch june 23 is to trouble shoot and repair the bilge pump or wiring that was causing a short in that circuit. the problem on the Morgan M34 is that the bilge is Very hard to access without removing a lot of stuff and then hanging upside down into the abyss. n...

Tim, you probably have seen her around the coast of Maine. The boat's name is Ariadne out of Bidderford Pool.
I have a launch date of June 23 so I am not planning to do much work to the boat other than the normal prelaunch activities. I will be moored off Chebeague Island for the summer.

I removed the handrails because they were cracked and broken and the fasteners were loose or snapped. some water appears to have leaked into the core in a couple of places.
I drilled the holes out and cleaned out as much wet core as I could and then filled with thickened epoxy.
